Rides and Things to Do

For any age, for any amount of time, Big Surf has a variety of rides and attractions! The only recommendation is that you are ready to have fun!

Zambezi Falls: In all of 15 seconds, make this near vertical drop, down this three story half pipe water tube ride!

Challenger Body Flumes: Twist and turn through these twin tubeless water rides! Newly resurfaced, you’ll seamlessly whip through 300 ft. and drop into a 3 ft. catch pool!

Rapids: Cascade down a 130 ft. tube water slide that splashes up with a series of waterfalls and catch pools.

Space Bowl: Around and around you’ll go after you skimming through this 185 ft. flume that ends in a bowl.   After whirling you around, you’ll land into a 7 ft. catch pool beneath.

Activity Pool: After a few adventures on our slides, create your own adventures with our two 80 ft. body flumes that spill into a 4 ft deep pool. Also enjoy water basketball or try your balancing act on our floating lily pads. While this is usually considered the kiddie pool, adult kids are certainly welcome to join the fun.

Tropical Splash Island: Even our smallest guests can enjoy Big Surf! For the smallest of children, enjoy splashing in the Tropical Splash Island. With “0” entry (no steps) into an 18” pool; two water slides; eight “tipping toucans” suspended high above the pool that continuously fill and empty onto children below; water teeter totter; five rocking animals that squirt water; 3 bikes that squirt water when pedaled; a rain umbrella that is dry beneath but has an endless supply of water cascading down from the top… parents can rest assured their children will safely have plenty to do!

Lazy River: Float the daily stresses away, with our 980 ft. jet propulsion “river” that serenely glides you along in a tube at 3 mph.

Wave Pool: Surge in a 375,000 gallon pool with real tidal waves! These man-made waves reach up to 4.5 feet!

Games Area: Activities such as shuffleboard, horseshoes, ping-pong and basketball plus a regulation-sized sand volleyball pit! Score! If water isn’t your thing, we also have additional dry activities listed below!

Surf Club: Adults, 21 years or older, can gather at our Beer garden and pick up a game in the regulation-sized sand volleyball pit along with shuffleboard, horseshoes, ping-pong and basketball.

Sure we know, how can anyone have this much fun in 1 day? Why not gather for your own party or plan a work meeting like never before!

Gift Shop

So you forgot the sun block? Maybe the towels? We know you're excited, so after running out the door and forgetting some necessities… our gift shop is stocked with all the sundries and accessories you will need. Ranging from convenience items like towels and sunglasses to necessities such as sun block products, we also carry extras- including treats and souvenir t-shirts!

After buying a shirt, be sure to pose for a picture!

Don’t Feel Like Making a Splash? Stay on Dry Land

Who says you have to splash around in a swimsuit to have fun at Big Surf?

In addition to our water rides, our expanded “dry” area provides lots of laughter and entertainment for those not interested in getting wet.

• Build a sand castle or play some volleyball in the new court.
• Go for the one half-court basketball hoops.
• Perfect your forehand smash on our ping-pong table.
• Play a cool game of 8-ball, but watch out for a different kind of shark on the outdoor pool table.
• Pitch leaners and ringers to score points in a relaxing, old-fashioned game of horseshoes.
• Try your hand at shuffling the puck to score points and knock your opponent off the Shuffleboard
• Climb and travel through a structure full of passageways in our Children’s playground.
